SDR Pro Track

Intuite has developed an Android application to provide an effective, robust, and much less expensive solution for radio tracking, which involves evaluating the strength of a signal and locating its origin.

The starting point is the radio tracking of animals, particularly the radio tracking of Asian hornets for locating nests using Locnest. Existing tools for radio tracking are dedicated and rely on custom or very low-volume hardware, making them expensive. The idea is to offer a radio tracking solution using off-the-shelf products: any Android smartphone, an RTL-SDR dongle, a standard directional antenna, and the SDR Pro Track application. 

When it comes to easily determining the direction of a given signal (knowing approximately the frequency), SDR Pro Track is the best consumer solution. It has been developed to ensure robustness in terms of connectivity and performance, with increased sensitivity to detect the weakest signals thanks to innovative signal processing algorithms.
